International Students

The International Student application is now closed for Spring 2024. The deadline to apply for Fall 2024 (starting in September) is June 15, 2024. Please review all information below for the most up-to-date admissions requirements. 

Cape Cod Community College is open to students from countries other than the United States of America, provided the student shows promise of profiting from the educational opportunities and experience in the U.S. and at this College.

You are considered an international student applicant if you are not:

  • A U.S. Citizen or U.S. Permanent Resident/Immigrant (hold a green card)

Or

  • A Refugee in the U.S. under political asylum

Or

  • In the process of legally pursuing a green card and provide proper documentation of your pending status

Application Procedures and Eligibility

To be eligible for admission to a degree at Cape Cod Community College, an international applicant must meet the following criteria and complete the application in its entirety. Incomplete applications will not be reviewed for admission.

Note: For the Dental Hygiene, Nursing, and Aviation Maintenance programs, additional procedures apply.

  • Completed Cape Cod Community College admissions application
  • Completed International Student Admission Application
  • Home Country Address Form
  • Notarized official high school courses transcript or foreign equivalent, submitted as originals OR certified copies. If documents are not in English, an official translation must be submitted along with your documents. Foreign documents must be evaluated and translated by a US evaluation company like the Center for Educational Documentation (CED) www.cedevaluations.com or World Education Services (WES): www.wes.org or Spantran:  Spantran pathways – Cape Cod CC (Offers discounted services) 
  • If English is not your first language, you are required to provide proof of your English Proficiency:
    a. Official TOEFL scores sent directly from Educational Testing Service www.ets.org/toefl (CCCC code: 3289) Minimum scores: 68 (IBT), 520 (written), 190 (computer)
    b. Official IELTS score sent to us directly from http://www.ielts.org/. Minimum score: 6
    c. Official Duolingo scores sent directly from http://englishtest.duolingo.com/. Minimum score: 95
  • Copy of your current I-20, as well as any previous I-20s issued to you, if applicable
  • Copy of your current visa and I-94 card, as well as any extensions or previous changes of visa status since your last entry into the United States
  • Official Certification of Finances Form
  • Official Bank Letter verifying funds available. The amount must be a minimum of $34,660 USD. The bank must certify funds in US dollars.
  • A Notarized Affidavit of Support From must be submitted stating that your Sponsor(s) will be responsible for your educational and living expenses for the duration of your studies at Cape Cod Community College. Your sponsor's official bank statement, dated within 6 months, must also be submitted.
  • Completed Physicians Immunization Verification Form
  • Copy of Passport
  • If you are transferring from another US institution, you must submit a completed International Student Transfer Report.

Form I-20 and F-1 Visa Information

The I-20 form will be processed by the Cape Cod Community College Director of Admissions for accepted students only. The I-20 form will be sent via postal mail to the mailing address listed on the 4Cs Admissions Application. 4Cs does not issue the F-1 student visa.

Cape Cod Community College students on an F-1 visa must be enrolled full-time with 12 or more credits per semester.
